The Offer

about

The glock/vibe line as well as the main bass line throughout this song is taken from an old, old Blue Chain Language song called "Hypersomnia," from my second release, 'The Death of the Album.' Also, the final section of this song was taken from another song from that album entitled "Last Dream." If you're wondering, that album is not worth having. So, this song is one giant Frankenstein of parts and melodies and sections of a few old songs but that's why I enjoy it so much. It has one of the simplest most straight-forward Hip-hop beats to it and I some of the vocal work I feel proudest about. It is about temptation and infatuation.

lyrics

When I watch you move
I want to move too
But I know better
You had to wear the dress
You wore when we met
I know it well
I was admittedly infatuated with the sound of your breath
When I watch you move
I want to move too
But I know better

(Allocate my empty space you can have it all
as soon as you figure you can't...)

Like a circle I
Bend all the time
When I want you
Captured every night
In neon light
You have known that
I was admitted with symptoms similar to that of regret
Now I watch you move
And I want to move too
But I’m know better

Allocate my empty space you can have it all
As soon as you figure you can’t
Oversee that property pawn it off
(At least you gave it a shot, when I)
